Dress

• know what suits your figure, you’ll know the types of party dresses that play up your best features, think about this firsthand

• research online, find the dresses you like and the find the boutiques that stock them

• be open minded, dress professionals often say that you won’t choose the dress you think you will, listen to their expert advice.

Shoes

It sounds obvious - wear your wedding shoes in before the day itself!!

Hair

It is included in most package but try to have your hair done a few times before the big day and if you can plan this for the same day as your makeup trial, you’ll know exactly how you will look on the day.

Jewellery

•Perhaps have a separate bag/ tote to pop all of your wedding accessories in to ensure that on the day they’re all together and nothing is forgotten especially if you aren’t getting ready at home.

• Try all of the accessories on together with your dress to ensure you are happy before the big day.

Managing your things

• On the day will you have a little bag, or pockets in your dress for phone and a little lipstick?

• Will your maid of honour be carrying all of your essentials?

It’s hard as a woman to think of a time you wouldn’t have your handbag with you, but this is something you need to plan for for your Wedding day.

Plan for bad weather

It might be an idea to pack or at least consider the following for weather contingency

• wellies

• pretty umbrellas

• indoor shots - is the venue nice enough inside if you don’t have outdoor shots?

• prep your photographer for what you’d like to do if the heavens open

• weather proof your dress a have hooks underneath your dress that hook up to the top so it doesn’t drag in the mud before you even get to the venue. Little ribbon hooks that will help bridesmaids carry the dress as well as you, so you can continue to be in control.
