One of the most important things to us are Sur Mesure is to ensure you have everything your way at your wedding; that we fulfil your every need.

Today we are talking about the elegance in simplicity- something which I feel is important when it comes to weddings. It’s so easy to become bogged down with trends and fads that we clutter our big days with things that ultimately won’t matter. Modern day life is filled with so much distraction with social media, working, hectic social lives, keeping fit, children, pets, the list is endless... I think it’s time for a surge of simplicity.

Lets go with less is more.

Lets be be less preoccupied with photobooths and Favours and more occupied with getting to chat with all the guests and having friends help out, and maybe making favours if they are important to you.

Do you need all the jazzy extras and the biggest and best band?

One of my lovely couples are hosting on their parents farm, in a marquee they’ve procured from more friends. They’ve borrowed everything and made what they can.

The band is a gift from their friends (who are the band).

I love that they have stripped it right back to basics. Simple.

I know they won’t mind me saying this but wedding Planning is normally inherently quite a stressful experience - but these guys have made it so easy and fun for themselves.

Well placed floral arrangements mean they have not spent a fortune one flowers. They’ve been practical with their budget and are employing the help of talented friends and family.
