Karl Largerfeld passes in Paris aged 85 | The world of Weddings not just fashion has lost an icon.

Karl Largefeld has been an influential name amongst wedding industry as well as the high fashion industry. Designing gowns for the likes of lily Allen, Kiera Knightly and Drew Barrymore.

In 2016 he debuted a collection of stunning engagement rings. The collection included three distinct designs, the first of which is highlighted by pointed studs similar to the ones seen on many of the accessories in his eponymous line. The second style incorporated modern, geometric shapes, and the third was inspired by the curves and arches seen throughout Parisian architecture; they were more for the millennial crowd. Wedding rings prior to this had not been an area he had dabbled in. Despite designing everything from light up shoes for Chanel and Coke cans!

“We have lost a creative genius who helped to make Paris the fashion capital of the world and Fendi one of the most innovative Italian houses,” LVMH chairman and chief executive Bernard Arnault said in a statement.
