Wedding Roles | Best Man / Woman

The best man role is often filled by a brother or best friend is the biggest source of support for the groom. 

Although men don't have as many pre-wedding events as women, the best man is in charge of planning the stag do / party.  He is also usually in charge of picking up the groom and groomsmen formal attire if they are renting them and returning them after the wedding. 

The best man gives a speech during the reception as well and signing the marriage license as a witness.

• Often will sit on the top table.

• Often asked to help with rallying guests for photographs and acting as a MC.
