Amuse Bouche

Our afternoon tea starts with an amuse-bouche. It is brought on a platter of dry ice; which is pleasing to the eye and nose... lavender scented for an all around sensory experiencryption. The amuse bouche in a glass: hot chocolate sauce in the bottom, a crumble/ shortbread, the the top was a vanilla ice cream (as I remember).

Its an incredibly sweet entrée which was a wonderful surprise, which is an absolute delight. The hot, cold and crumble is oral ecstacy.

The Savouries

The chicken tikka and mango chutney on a seaded roll.

Salmon and cream cheese finger sandwich on brown bread.

Egg Mayo on white rolls, cheese with carrot purée on a crostini.

The Scones

The plain and fruit scones are served with a strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream!

The Sweets

Macarons

White chocolate and berry pop.

Toffee and Banana wafer.

Almond and black current cake.

The overall

Each time we visit the Edgbaston we are always impressed with how impeccably attentive the staff are. They are knowledgeable about the product offering, slick service.

The Edgbaston is extremely popular so booking ahead is essential. Sarah and The reservations team is very responsive, both on the phone and via email

We always deal with Sarah Parkinson who is ever professional, polite and accommodating.
