Recently Engaged... now what?! 5 Quick Tips

Congratulations on your engagement!

Whether it’s something you’ve been expecting or a completely surreal whirlwind you are now embarking on one of the most fun journeys of your life so far with your beau!

Five little pointers for recently engaged couples:

1. You’ll probably want to give your nails and hands a quick manicure before you post your ring selfies or celebrate. All eyes will be on these bad boys for some time!

2. Almost Immediately after you’ve got engaged you will want to announce to your loved ones and there are so many fantastic ways to do this (engagement announcement inspo click here).

3. Get your ring insured.

I appreciate this is not the most romantic item on your to-do list, albeit an important one.

4. This may arguably be the first thing on the list.... sit down and discuss what your dream wedding looks like - how many guests? What theme? Where? Church/ Civil / Celebrant? When?

If you have done this, the Wedding Planning questions (when they come, and they will!) will be easier to answer!

5. Last but by no means least: mentally prepare yourself for all knowlegde and help that is about to be unloaded on to you from everyone you know and don’t know.
