Here is some solid advice from Sur Mesure’s Experts...
1. Plan it out.
This seems pretty obvious given you’re reading this; however a well planned proposal is everything. It is the beginning of your journey in love and life. Make is a special moment to remember forever.
2. Timing is everything.
Valentine’s Day is a memorable day and is a great time to propose. It’s romantoc, you’re likely to be somewhere you both love and hold great memories and have an affinity with. Think about when she would like it. After dinner? When you are back at the hotel? At the beginning of the day? During the day?
3. Don’t guess.
Mid you aren’t sure what your partner would like it’s 100% not a good idea to guess whether they want a big public proposal or an intimate (just the two of you) setting.
4. Ensemble
think about what you are both wearing. You will want to take pictures to capture the moment. Ensure she is wearing something she knows she looks good in, might it be worth suggesting or paying for her to have her nails done?
All things to consider.
5. Be yourself.
If you aren’t both in to sunsets and grand romantic gestures, don’t feel pressured in to proposing in those circums- write your own love story. After all this is the beginning of your lives together, make it about the two of you. Enjoy it. Treasure it.
